Bill Gould is the Director of Equity and Inclusion at National Disability Institute (NDI). Bill has more than 25 years of experience working in philanthropy as well as systems of care for vulnerable populations. He believes in supporting systems change through organizing, advocacy and power building in communities of color. Because of his experience as a person of color with a disability, Bill understands that issues of intersectionality and multiple marginalization must be addressed to improve financial health and well-being. Bill credits his resilience and commitment to social justice to a family legacy of surviving enslavement and fighting for freedom and equity. A graduate of UCLA, where he received a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Bill also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Occidental College. When not focused on work, Bill can often be found on the basketball court, baseball diamond or attending other sporting events. He also likes to spend time at his children’s school and dancing salsa with his wife.
