Training and Technical Assistance Manager
Annie Lorenz, MA, CRC, serves as a Training and Technical Assistance Manager at National Disability Institute, bringing over 15 years of experience in workforce development, mental health services and disability advocacy. As a subject matter expert, Annie has managed statewide mental health services and developed training initiatives supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. Her work has focused on implementing evidence-based practices across workforce and behavioral health systems. Highlights of her work include: Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) trainer, utilizing supported employment in recovery, clubhouse model, customized employment, underserved and co/occurring populations, Integrated Resource Team and a statewide tiered benefits planning model. Annie has a Master’s of Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over 10 years of vocational counseling experience; Annie enjoys her role as an adjunct professor teaching graduate courses in psychiatric rehabilitation. She is committed to expanding opportunities that support employment as a key to economic stability and personal growth. In her spare time, you can usually find her outside with her husband and three young boys exploring Missouri’s state parks.”
