Biography
Elizabeth (Liz) Layman has more than seven years of experience in research, program management and content creation. Prior to joining NDI, she served as Project Manager at World Institute on Disability (WID), where she developed financial empowerment curricula like FDIC’s Money Smart games and CFPB’s disability companion guide to Your Money, Your Goals; led qualitative research studies; and collaborated with diversity, equity and inclusion powerhouses like the NAACP and Unidos US. Ms. Layman earned her Bachelor’s in English and Disability Studies at the University of California, Berkeley and her master’s in Public Health at the George Washington University.
