Biography
Elizabeth (Liz) Layman has five years of experience working with vulnerable populations, including people with disabilities, people with life-threatening food allergies, and seniors. Prior to joining NDI, she was a Project Manager at the World Institute on Disability where she developed financial empowerment curricula, implemented user experience testing, and systematized accessibility upgrades for national civil rights and community development conferences. Liz earned her Bachelor’s in English with a minor in Disability Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Nutrition at George Washington University. Liz loves reading, competitive ballroom dancing, and eating ice cream.
