Biography
Tasha Jackson is the Instructional Design Manager at National Disability Institute with a diverse background in training, instructional design, disability services, and public service. A Certified Training Specialist, Tasha has built her career across multiple areas of learning and development, serving as an instructor, instructional developer, instructional designer, and now instructional design manager.
Prior to transitioning into the training and instructional design field, Tasha worked in human services roles that supported individuals and families navigating public assistance systems. Her experience includes serving as a Disability Determination Specialist for the State of North Carolina and as a Medicaid Case Manager supporting family and children’s Medicaid services. These experiences provided her with valuable insight into public systems and case management.
Tasha holds a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University, a Master of Arts in Instructional Design from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is passionate about creating engaging, accessible, and meaningful learning experiences that empower professionals and strengthen organizations.
