This webinar provides a brief overview of SSDI, Medicare and Medicare financial assistance, SSI, and Medicaid. It will go over:

  • What each benefit is (cash, health insurance);
  • Who can receive the benefit (eligibility criteria);
  • Which agency administers the benefit; and
  • How to confirm which benefits the prospective business owner receives.

This session will also include information about organizations in the Virginia, Maryland and DC area that provide support and advice on benefits, including work incentives counseling.

Who should attend? This webinar is primarily intended for disability service providers and support organizations that can benefit business owners with disabilities. Entrepreneurs and business owners with disabilities and their family members may also find this webinar helpful.
