Your feedback will help us better understand how best to Northeast Ohioans with disabilities become more financially stable. We hope you will share your experiences to help us identify challenges and develop relevant, practical solutions that meet the needs of people with disabilities in the region.

Please use this link to register for one of the sessions being hosted in-person or online via Zoom:

  • In-person at Max Housing, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 10am to 11:30am
  • In-person at Max Housing, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 5pm to 6:30pm
  • In-person at LEAP on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 1pm to 2:30pm
  • Virtually/ Zoom meeting on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 3:00pm to 4:30pm ET.

You will receive a $100 gift card for your time and contributions. You must participate for the entire session to receive the incentive.

We hope you will share your experiences to help us identify community-wide  challenges and develop relevant, practical economic solutions that meet the needs of small business owners with disabilities and other people with disabilities in the region.

National Disability Institute (NDI) asks for your help in recruiting focus group participants for listening sessions with Northeast Ohioans with disabilities. These listening sessions are part of a year-long research initiative, funded by the George Gund Foundation, to explore pathways to economic progress for people with disabilities in the region. We will engage stakeholders across individuals and families, disability providers, disability policy representatives and advocates and small-business owners and self-employed persons with disabilities. Employment and workforce participation, financial empowerment and small business ownership will be the primary areas of focus for the project.

Sessions will be hosted in-person, as well as online via Zoom on the following dates:

  • In-person at Max House, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 (various times)
  • In-person LEAP, on Thursday November 2, 2023 (various times)

We seek your expertise in assisting us to understand the community-wide economic challenges and opportunities across services, programs, and Together, with your and other community stakeholder insights, we will develop relevant, practical solutions toward a community investment strategy for advancing economic opportunities for people with disabilities in the region.

Interviews will be hosted in-person or virtually on one of the following dates:

  • In-person, Max Housing – Wednesday, November 1 at 10:00am to 11:30am ET
  • In-person, Max Housing – Wednesday, November 1 at 4:00pm to 6:00pm ET
  • In-person, LEAP – Thursday, November 2 between10:00am to 6:30pm ET
