Biography
Laura Gleneck is the Division Director for Employment Projects at NDI. She also serves as the Co-Project Director for the ODEP-funded National Center on Leadership for the Employment and Economic Advancement of People with Disabilities (LEAD Center). In her role as Division Director, Laura provides leadership to employment project staff and manages assigned employment projects. She brings more than 19 years of demonstrated and dedicated experience in the areas of project management and project coordination of both small and large federally-funded contracts and more than 25 years of experience working with national disability organizations.
For 19 years, Laura served as the project manager for training and technical assistance activities to help states implement DOL-funded disability employment grants. Prior to joining NDI, Laura served as the project coordinator for federal projects with a focus on inclusion of youth with disabilities in transition and participation in community and employment. She holds a master’s degree in Child Study from Tufts University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the George Washington University.
Outside of the office, Laura enjoys reading, writing, taking walks and biking, as well as working with her husband, Jayson, transforming their house into a “home.”
